The intimate landscape is one of the most powerful view we can take of nature. Looking beyond the awesome magnitude of nature that surrounds us the intimate landscape shows the intricate beauty that is there, and everywhere.
This image was made only after I had hiked past these trees and enormous rock five times. On the sixth trip I actually saw the connection and struggle that was going on between the trees and the rocks, and I made this image.
