The print of the month for February 2010 is one that I took recently in Death Valley National Park. It was taken in Badwater Basin, one of the most famous sites in the park. I had been camping and shooting in the area for several days and decided to stop and show the tourist trap to my brother and sister who had never been on a whim.
Well as photographers will always tell you, “I didn’t intent to make an image but then I saw something that caught my eye…” Ironically I owe this shot to my brother who made a crack about me showing him up again. Well since he was teasing I had to put in the best effort possible. This image is the result. I really like it. So thanks Robert for teasing and pushing me further along! It always pays to have somebody there to push you along when you might slack off. That is often when the greatest rewards come!
I know that you will enjoy this picture, the detail in the pool is amazing. The water was perfectly still on this day with no wind at all in the air! I have been here on days that the wind and salt almost blew me away!
This picture is available as an 10″ x 15″ print or a 10″ x 15″ print matted to 16″ x 20″. This is the link for more details.
I am confident that this will make a wonderful print for anyone, so get yours now!
The final image will impress you and be one that will be amazing on your wall or a wonderful addition to your collection.
