This Red-naped Sapsucker must stay at Floyd Lamb City Park in Las Vegas full time. I think that I may have photographed him a few times because I always find at least one specimen that is extremely undisturbed by people being near him. This bird let me photograph him for at least 40 minutes all the while at least a dozen people with noisy dogs walked by not realizing he was there!
The Sapsuckers are one of my very favorite birds that I have been able to photograph lately! They really do just let you get in close more often than not!
